Rotunda Café Bar — Restaurant in Xewkija

I seldom encounter seafood quality this way but as i was hungry that day, so i gave it a try. But the steamed mussels were obviously using frozen mussels, so you'll know the meat was hard and tough. And the so-called lobster pasta, they put one shrimp on top and the shrimp meat was not fresh so after one bite, i couldn't continue anymore. I didn't continue to have dessert as i know what kind of quality it'll be. Absolutely wonderful! A friend and I were on a spontaneous day trip to Gozo. We found our way to the Rotunda Church by complete chance and as soon as I saw this cafe, knew we had to stop.

The service was second to none. The amount of effort put into a couple of coffees was nothing short of artwork, before having our coffee served to the table, and at such lost cost, is both exceptionally kind and extremely good value.

A friendly atmosphere consisting of locals and tourists. Air conditioned interior, with sports played on the large screens. The local beer 'Cisk' is readily available, cold and only costs €1.50 (at time of writing). There is food available such as pizza and chicken, or meat dishes and can be taken away.
