Went with my Mauritian wife’s family whilst on holiday for an ad hoc lunch so had not booked but there was no problem and plenty of room. We even got a golf buggy drive to the restaurant entrance by the entrance guard!

We were given a great table and our waiter, Ranjeev, was very welcoming as were all his colleagues. He explained the menu to the family and myself, in English.

The food was delicious and the family had the local dishes and I had a venison burger, cooked perfectly for me. We did not have wine so cannot comment but the juices were delicious and prices reasonable.

He was attentive without being intrusive for if we needed anything and very friendly.

The views are spectacular from the restaurant of the golf course and coast in the distance.

After the meal we were invited to take a golf buggy tour of the grounds by Ranjeev and Gulreez took us round showing us a selection of the houses on site as well as explain the options if we wanted to buy a new one to be built. We did not take up the offer of visiting the Spa.

In all an excellent place to go for lunch and would recommend it...

A must visit place if you are looking for an extra ordinary culinary experience..food is superb..from the service to the taste and presentation. The cooks deserve a 👌👍 the waiters serve you with a beautiful smile even though they have lots of guest to take care of they mange the peak hour pressure so well. I was surprised to see them working in a team in collaboration with other waiters they handle everything together. It was an awesome experience. This restaurant is mostly full of tourist visit as it is located just next to grand bassin. Make sure you have a reservation before going. We booked via marideal and they welcomed us like we are the tourist there..no grumpy face of waiters at all they are always smiling. The price is too hot just give a look to the menu list I have uploaded a few pictures which I managed to take from my mobile. The bread and sauces are complimentary...

Food was very good. It would be excellent if they were served on hot or even warm plates. I would recommend their signature sirloin (cooking of meat was spot on for me). Not a fan of synthetic truffle oil. Service was good, with a few members attentive to every little detail for such an establishment. They could do with aligning their knowledge across the service staff so the entire dining experience feels seamless and professional. For example, the person taking our order opened the fire exit door to clear a plate into the bin outdoors (so not in the kitchen or washing area..). Toilet was a mess with water and soap everywhere by the sink (at time of opening). Overall I would recommend but this place is at high risk of becoming a white elephant if nothing is done to respect the basic standards of service and cleanliness for a...

Great location. Nice views from the top on the southern part of the island. Setting of the restaurant in the midst of the golf estate is gorgeous! Free parking. Restaurant itself if well laid out, a lot of spaces, great attentive staff. As a local, I did not like the food that much. It tends to blend European n local. We had the set menu for a Marideal voucher. The fish curry had too much turmeric. The chicken had too many spices floating around and not blended well in the sauce. Burger was ok, although they did not have the venison on that day. Fries were great. Disappointed by the watermelon juice. A bit pricey but it's a classy venue. Great staff!
