Went to the Caudan which apparently has just opened.
Not enough staffs which means the existing staffs were burnt out and therefore affecting the level of service.
Entree chicken lollipop normally comes in 6 pieces but received only 5. I had to chase up numerous times for the six ones to come out.
Food came warm I.e not hot enough so I'm suspecting they were sitting in the kitchen for a while until they camve out.
Mains came out with no spoon to serve so had to use our table spoon and chase up for few more.
We ordered white wine and it was red that came out.
3 potential customers came in and they left cause they weren't getting attended to.
There was a function booked outside, so there's not enough staff to start and therefore the staffs were resllyli struggling.
One can only pay by cash, thefefore you have to find your way to an ATM.
I'm gobsmacked just looking at how the owner/manager only cares about your money rather than delivering service that you pay for.
The staffs were lovely though where they would have made this place better if the owner/manager could be bothered to provide them with necessary support.
I wouldn't recommend this place at it. For sure It was the worst restaurant I've...

Venue: The restaurant offers a beautiful outdoor view, perfect for photography sessions. The interior is also well-maintained, and we were able to bring our own decor, which added a personal touch to the event.
Service: A special mention goes to Mr. Lobier from South Africa, who assisted us throughout the booking and planning process. He was exceptionally friendly and always greeted us with a smile. However, the same cannot be said for the Mauritian waitstaff, who seemed rather cold and appeared annoyed when approached for assistance.
Food: The food was excellent, with the added benefit of customizing the level of spiciness to suit our preferences. The dishes were delicious and affordable, especially when compared to similar establishments.Overall, despite some issues with the local staff, Indra Restaurant provided a great setting and tasty food, making our wedding reception a...
Read moreI found this place on Google Maps while searching for Indian food in the Port Louis area. Indra seemed like the most convenient option, as it features a spacious garden, beautiful scenery, and a historical train in the vicinity. The ambiance truly reflects an Indian aesthetic, with gold and wooden décor, cozy sofas to relax while enjoying Indian melodies, and a stylish bar to unwind.
The entrance was impressive, and the welcoming service stood out. The Indian waiters were highly attentive and provided excellent service, explaining the menu in detail. We ordered a variety of curries, a mixed platter, naan, and different cocktails. Each curry had a distinct flavor and was well-prepared, with portion sizes that ensured everyone got a fair share of meat.
For a group of six, the total bill was 5000 MUR, which was incredible considering that each person had a starter, main course, dessert, and drinks. Highly recommended!
