Just came out of McDonald, Beau Bassin. Order number 2747, 16 February. After 20 min waiting for my order I went to the counter to ask why it took so long to prepare fast food. No one offered to help, all avoiding eye contact. Called a young woman who looked really unfriendly. Without a word went to prepare the order and gave it to me in a take away bag. I said this was an eat - in order. No trays she replied. I asked why MC Donald had no trays for an eat - in customer to which she responded by getting aggressive in tone , pointing to an empty space asking if I saw any trays there. To which I said it was her job to look and make sure trays were always available . She sulked and never apologised for the disgraceful service and her shocking behaviour. And to finish it off when I asked to speak to the manager it turned out that SHE, the young woman WITHOUT MANNERS and no clue about CUSTOMER SERVICE, SHE WAS THE MANAGER ! This is not my first experience of bad service there but Mcdonald at Beau Bassin can be held as an example of the worst customer service I have come across, sans égal anywhere...
Read moreThis afternoon at 18:30, I experienced a distressing situation. I was requested to move my car in order to prevent any delay in the service. From what I gathered, the standard service time seemed to be disregarded due to the fast food nature of the establishment. The waiters, who were very kind, agreed to serve me while I waited in the drive-thru line. However, customers behind me were served before me, causing irritation and leading them to assume that I was blocking the way. They started honking and cursing at me. In my understanding, customers should be served in the order they arrive to prevent any bottlenecks. The van drivers behind me rudely swore at me, causing a great deal of discomfort. I believe it is completely unethical for employees to ask us to park in the car park just to ensure adherence to service time, as this significantly delays the service. Read moreSave you money, just don't go there. The taste is awful, eat a cardboard, it's the same thing. Patty is the worse ever and dry as the desert. Asked for non-spicy chickens and was given a hot spicy one which my kid ate. NO LETTUCE in the burgers, they put LISOU in it. Wow, the standard. Ordered a Sprite, got 3/4 cup of ice. Went to get a proper cup of drink and... the guy who looked in charge told me it was normal that they serve more ice than the actual drink and I didn't get a refill. He even showed me that there is a level mark-up on the glass (shown in picture) where the man indicated. This "Mauritian" fake branding is just disgusting, has no standards and has nothing to do with the original McDonald's you get abroad. THIS IS A SCAM! DON'T WASTE...
