Kua private chef service — Restaurant in El Tezal

We worked with Chef Ari in October 2019, where she served as the private chef for our group of eight adults over the course of five days while we were vacationing in Cabo. Chef Ari was phenomenal, and I cannot recommend her services and cooking highly enough! During our stay in a villa, she cooked two dinners/cocktail hours for us (including a special 40th birthday celebration), two lunches, and breakfast each morning. Each meal was delicious and made with care from the freshest ingredients. It is important to Chef Ari to support local farmers, and she visits these farmers each day and also preserves this produce in different ways, such as homemade harissa and pickles. She bakes fresh breads and pastries each morning and also makes her own ice cream. To have this variety and quality of fresh dishes every day was truly amazing! She also exposed our group (visiting from NYC and LA) to different local ingredients, such as huitlacoche, and explained what made them special. Prior to the trip, we worked closely with her to plan our menus and appreciated her responsiveness, creativity, and detail orientation. Came into town for a wedding and also celebrating a birthday. Was looking for a private chef for the birthday dinner and happened to find her company through google maps. She doesn’t have enough reviews here! Her team was absolutely fantastic and is very communicative about the menu and curated something for everyone’s dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely amazing and 10000/10 would recommend. If I come back to Cabo I’m definitely doing this again.

She does have more yelp reviews but thought I would write here too to let the people know~! We had 8 people total in our party, and also had ordered pitchers. The pitcher was more like a bartender who made margaritas/mezcaljtas on the spot but there were still options they provide so you can choose. My personal favorite was the mango mezcalita! Chef Ari and her team are incredible! We brought Chef Ari in to cook a birthday dinner for my father. She had great communication from the time of booking - taking the time to understand our likes and what we were looking to get out of the event. Then tailoring a specific menu with fresh seasonal, local and organic ingredients. Her team adapted flawlessly to a few changes we threw at them - from appetizers on the rooftop with sunset, to holding a plate as we got our toddler to bed - they were professional and incredibly accommodating. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had and the drinks were delicious as well. Chef Ari came prepared to celebrate with homemade ice cream and a freshly baked tres leches cake that was divine.
