I suffered a foot injury at this establishment due to the staff's alarming lack of empathy. As the restaurant was nearing closing time, I urgently needed to use the restroom facilities; however, one of the staff members was engrossed in her phone and disregarded my presence, dismissively waving her hand in a manner that conveyed disdain. I proceeded to the rear area, where the only available restroom was designated for male patrons. Due to my inability to support myself, I had to lean against the stall, which was inadequately secured by a small hook. The floor's sloping surface contributed to my loss of balance, causing me to fall and land on my foot, resulting in a 3-bone fracture. The wait staff rushed me out of the restroom, displaying a disturbing lack of compassion. I was forced to exit the premises on one foot while still in shock. Upon contacting the owner, I was met with an initial lack of response, followed by a dismissive communication that failed to offer an apology. For five months, I have been coping with the physical pain and emotional trauma stemming from this incident. I underwent an extremely painful and complex surgical procedure to repair the three bones I fractured in my ankle. I am deeply disappointed in the staff's behavior, but even more so in the owner's leadership, which appears to foster a culture of indifference among employees. I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as my experience was one of the most traumatic in my life, exacerbated by the lack of sympathy...
Read morePrices are way to high for the hospitality that they offer. We had to find our own menus and chairs after being shown our table. Then we had to search our server above to order our food, she never once paid any attention to our table or even gave a glance in our direction. In total we waited 2.5 hours and never saw the ceviche that we ordered. We finally gave up and told the owner that we wanted to pay for our water and beer and leave and he mocked us and simply told us that this is what happens at a busy restaurant. They then made us wait even longer while they hunted down the waitress because they needed to confirm our drink order and she didn’t even know our table number! I was shocked that they did not apologize. 2.5 hours total and one beer there are much better places to go...
Read moreWe went there twice during our stay in La Ventana. The first night, we were left unattended and waited for our drink for nearly 30 minutes at the beach and another 30 minutes before the food finally arrived. The waiter for the beach got angry when we asked for faster services. The music at the beach was too loud but I liked watching people and dogs there as we had a plenty of time to wait. We thought we needed to adjust to the Mexican life but we never had that slow services at any other restaurants in zka Ventana. I observed the waiter had no planning and organization skills. We went back there because food and drink were good and we made sure to sit on the terrace. The service was much better. The music...
