This little unassuming restaurant is a must if you visit San Jose Del Cabo. The food was extraordinary. Chefs Miguel Gaytán and Kevin Castañon work magic in their kitchen with strong Sonoran influences. But, besides old family recipes for salsas and flavors, Kevin gained his skills working in restaurants in Milan, Italy, and Miguel studied culinary arts in Massachusetts.
The grilled whole fish is memorable, with the smoked faux marlin quesadilla, the superb ceviche, and the shrimp taco as starters making a perfect meal for three of us. And if you arrive during happy hour, go for the delicious $1 margaritas. All of the above, with a couple of drinks each, came to about $70.
