The Racing Bar or Carlos Racing Bar — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Carlos' Racing Bar is a very unique place to enjoy a beer or grab some grub. From the great Bartender to the family that owns it you have a team that really enjoys showing their patrons a good time with good food to go with it. Their chicken salad is out of this world, the best salad i've had in Baja for sure. If you are craving a burger they do a great job on that as well as the fries. Something from the sea? Grab the coconut shrimp and dip it in one of their famous dips, pineapple habanero, wasabi ranch, or just classic ranch. Overall a great place to hang out and if you start talking to one of the locals you might learn some history or just gain a new friend.

I do not know why people eat here. This is some of the worst food in mulege and some of the most expensive. They take advantage of Americans- yet it seems all the Americans around pile in. $250 pesos for 6 shrimp plate.. both my girlfriend and I felt terrible the next few days after eating here. Margaritas are terrible. Everything is fried. Service is slow. Cheap frozen veggies, plastic chairs tables and cheap baskets they serve it in. We will not be coming back- la Huerta down the road...
