What may appear to be an average sports bar, knocks it out of the park!
This restaurant is an absolute gem, and with new owners and a Michelin-trained chef, it has certainly risen to the top of the list for dining options in Baja California.
First and foremost, the location of Tiki Todd's is unbeatable. It is right on the water, offering stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. Whether you are looking for a romantic dinner with your significant other, somewhere to watch your local game or a family-friendly meal, the ambiance of Tiki Todd's is second to none.
Now, onto the food. The Michelin-trained chef at Tiki Todd's has clearly put a lot of thought and care into the menu. Every dish our party devoured was expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. Whether you are in the mood for seafood or something more meaty, there is something for everyone on the menu.
The service at Tiki Todd's is also exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to ensure that every guest has a great dining experience, including brining us our own big screen to watch the Oilers on and having the chef appear to ensure the food was on point.
All in all, Tiki Todd's is a must-visit restaurant in La Paz, Mexico. With its unbeatable location, Michelin-trained chef, and fantastic food and service, it is truly one of the best dining options in Baja California. I highly recommend...
Read moreLetâs just say things didnât work out very well. Arrived at 730pm per my reservation. I wanted to listen to a local jazz band and it was going to be a treat for my wife for Motherâs DayâŚâŚa steak dinner with live music. Waited 25 minutes for a host to even acknowledge us, but it didnât happen. It was my first visit, so Iâm thinking I donât understand the operation. I asked the gentleman that greeted us at the door how to place an order and he responded that I just needed to approach one of the waiters. So, I waited patiently for a waitress to deliver drinks to an adjacent table and then asked about ordering dinner. She said someone would stop by our table. Another 20 minutes and still no one came. I was really enjoying the music and didnât want to leave, but after 45 minutes of waiting to place an order, I wasnât wiling to risk another hour or more waiting for the food. The final straw was seeing a couple that arrived 40 minutes after us ordering when they had been there for maybe 5 minutes. Thankfully my wife was forgiving, but it ruined her Motherâs Day experience. Itâs unfortunate because we try to support the local businesses here in La Paz, but I will not be back. Best of luck Tiki ToddâsâŚâŚ.donât be offended, but this was...
Read moreI say this as someone who grew up on the Oregon coast and has eaten so many different fish & chips from the west coast all the way to New England, this was either the best or at worst top two fish & chips Iâve ever had in my life. My wife got the shrimp ceaser and inhaled it because it was so good. I ended up stealing a fair amount of my sonâs French dip sliders because again, probably the best (especially the dipping sauce) that Iâve ever had. Todd was super nice, our waitress was incredibly attentive and the overall experience was just all around great. Itâs certainly not traditional Mexican cuisine, but sometimes when you are down here itâs nice to take a break from all the outstanding tacos and Mexican fare to just get a taste of home, and Toddâs place wonât disappoint. I look forward to coming when there is some music, and if you want to catch a sports game from up North Iâm pretty sure Todd can hook you up for that as...
