El Cafecito Tres Estrellas — Restaurant in Baja California

Arrived for brunch, they only do reservation for large groups, our was 3. We were told it would be 40 minutes. After 90 minutes and us asking how much more. They finally sat us down, but have share table with other people. Service was very slow. Sunday brunch was very limited and very little protein choices, not worth the $30 dollar cost per person. Yes the atmosphere is beautiful with all the garden area, but after a while of waiting and seeing small tables empty and having to wait so long to be seated. It is not worth the wait for the food that is underpar in both taste and variety. For a Sunday brunch they should have more dishes to choice from. Only recommend dining during the week. The menu is short and to the point, but the offerings are DELICIOUS. It's part of the Rancho La Puerta family, so you know the menu items are sourced regionally and/or grown in from their own organic gardens.

The service is OUTSTANDING, and the atmosphere of eating at the foot hill of the Kuchuma Mountain, with all its majestic scenery and the ranch's natural beauty really make the visit worthwhile.

Ever so often, they have a brunch buffet by reservation on special occasions, which is truly delicious. I would call ahead to check their availability for this for specific dates.

I’m giving it a one star review just because the place is beautiful, there’s a lot of local vegetation and very clean, sadly we where not able to taste the food because we were waiting in the entrance waiting to be seated for almost 15 min, it wasn’t a busy day and it wasn’t crowded so it was weird that nobody greeted us or even one of the waiters to tell us where to sit or wait, we could hear the personnel laughing and chatting, if it where a different weather it wouldn’t had bothered me but today it’s soooooo hot so it was hard standing/waiting in the sun.
