I’ve passed by this little restaurant dozens of times on the way to the Valle de Guadalupe, but have always had lunch plans or reservations elsewhere. Today I stopped in for a late lunch and I’m glad I did! Despite my lack of Spanish skills, the menu is very approachable. The vibe is authentic Baja (aka not touristy, but still seemed clean and well-kept). I ordered the tacos dorados… fried crispy shell tacos. They’re made to order and served with rice and refried beans. I went with two beef and a chicken. Both were fantastic. The all-white meat chicken was a pleasant surprise. It’s great to have this place nearby, about halfway between Rosarito and Ensenada. Perfect if you need a snack on the way to wine tasting in the Valle. Did I mention my total order was under $8 USD? You can’t get a bottle of water for that just 30 minutes...

On Wednesdays they make Albondigas. A very popular soup and some of the best I have tasted. Be sure to get there by noon or before to make sure you can get the Albondigas....they do run...

Indoor seating can probably accommodate 20-25 people plus 2 round tables outside that can seat another dozen.
