Oak From Root to Table — Restaurant in Baja California

12/20/17 It was not as Charming as everyone claimed it to be. At first glance you wouldn't even notice it. The entryway was a bit dark and somewhat dirty, a bit uninviting.

I found it interesting how the wait staff was not there to greet anyone when they walked in. I, along with everyone else who came in after me, just sit at the front door looking like a lost puppy. They should have some sort of a sign or at least the wait staff verbally say that you could sit down anywhere you wish. Instead of just standing there looking like a jackass.

The menu was a bit much. It seemed overcrowded and yet the most simplest things were the most delicious of the mall. For example, the specialty coffees or mind-blowing with flavor and texture! Those I do recommend! The actual meals however, you might want to play this very carefully. What they won't tell you what the french toast, which is the item that I chose for that morning, is served on a very unique Texas toast style bread. But mind you, the bread is not fresh. It does fall apart and it is very dry. I wasn't very happy with it so I would I could and I left the rest for the dogs. Yes there were dogs roaming around! Not a very Klan Lili place overall.

I wouldn't go back to this place for a meal, but perhaps maybe for the specialty coffees that they do offer because those were...

We discovered this charming spot on our last day of the trip, and it turned out to be a delightful find. Nestled discreetly next to an OXXO, it’s a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth the visit. The food exceeded our expectations and truly lives up to its stellar reviews.

We stopped by for breakfast and were impressed by the quality of the dishes. I had the banana crepe, which was exceptional, while others in our party enjoyed a variety of crepes, pancakes, and chilaquiles. Everyone was pleased with their meals.

We chose to sit outside, where the ambiance was calm and relaxing, enhanced by the restaurant's signature tree. Even the bathrooms were a hit with my kids, a nice touch that added to the overall positive experience.

The coffee was delicious, and our server was friendly and efficient, ensuring our food arrived quickly. If you're looking for a great breakfast at a fair price, I highly recommend...

The food was delicious. The service was HORRIBLE! We waited 30 minutes to be seated, which wasn't bad. Once we were taken inside, the host tried to seat our party of 5 at two different tables. They refused to let us move the tables together. The server told us he would get us a table where we could sit together. An hour later we were still not at a table. We asked the host why we were still waiting. He then decided it was okay now for us to move the tables together.

After being there an hour and a half we were finally able to order. The food came out quickly, and very good. Unfortunately we decided to order dessert, which then took an hour to come out, even though the server had reassured us it would only take 8 minutes.
