If you forgot to make a reservation, look no further. You will greeted and accommodated by great staff members at any time of the day even during peak hours. The place is huge! We tried the pizza, and the cheese board along with a selection of great craft beer and wine. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we also had the chance to hear live music performers. Two doggies are roaming around which added another plus to the laid back nature of the restaurant. The food prices are also a major plus! I salute the humble menu prices in correlation with the quality of the ingredients used. Your Belgian Stout is amazing! Also, I am so grateful to see simple menu name choices. There are so many restaurants out there that contain crazy menu name choices in German or French or Italian that the typical tourist doesn't even understand a thing the menu reads! These guys at Ochentos kept their menu simple with food choices like "pepperoni pizza" or "pizza especial". I applaud 👏 you guys. I will definitely return and bring more people to get to know...

I'll be honest here, I have HATED every Mexican pizza place I've ever been to. I haven't been to that many in my life, but that has been the verdict. That being said, this place was not just a good place for Mexico, it was a good place no matter what you've had. Thin crust with a good almost-cracker crisp crust, and more pepperoni than what I had expected. They were out of their in-house Stout, and I had Porter, at the server's recommendation. It was cold, and had the right taste. The pizza was done up fast, but there wasn't many people when we went, so I can't speak of it when it's full. There were hummingbird feeders all over the place, and the birds put on a show while you're eating. The dining areas are covered, but open air as far as walls, and I can only imagine how pretty it must be to eat here...

Ochentos is quite possibly one of my favorite restaurants ever. I have been traveling to the Valle for about a decade and I never miss a chance to dine here. The atmosphere is a 12 out of 10. So many unique little coves and places to set tables. Always live music and the friendliest wait staff ever. A big shout out to my friend Tarek who always takes such good care of us while we are there.

The house salad is what I open with but it is only a teaser of what is to come. The only meal I’ve ever had and will ever order is the Cameron Pizza. An explosion of smoky chipotle flavor awaits as you take your first bite. It finishes with that amazing taste of shrimp. I have so many good memories eating here and I have introduced the place to over a hundred of my friends, family, and students. Te amo Ochentos!...

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. The place had just opened as we arrived but they quickly ushered us to our table and gave us the choice to eat indoors near a wood burning stove or outside under one of several canopied eating areas. We chose outside because of the beautiful tropical gardens although it was pretty chilly today. My hubby ordered two of the restaurant's brewery beers and I had the strawberry lemonade, which was lovely. We had the Caprese appetizer which was served as a row stack of soft baguette, basil, mozzerella and parsley drizzled with olive oil. We ordered a large pizza with 1/2 Greek and half 3 Cheese. Very good pizza with typical thickness. There was a nice chili oil on the table, as well as grated parmesan and red pepper flakes. Everything was delicious at this hidden gem!
