Three Brothers BBQ Tijuana — Restaurant in Baja California

BBQ needs ALOT of improvement to be called BBQ. Good effort in how the place looks. I should have known there was no smoking going on when I didn’t see any smoke billowing out. Grill was on but super clean. Nothing was smoking or cooking on the grill. Pork ribs were water logged, minutare, and lacked smoke and seasoning. Beef ribs were a bit better but were not fresh. Old shrunken ribs. Pulled pork had a very odd lemon flavor. Fries were soggy and my kids didn’t like them at all. 50/50 burger was decent but spicy- not for the little ones. The chicken tenders were actually nuggets that we ordered natural for the kids. They were actually hot and fresh and tasted good. Nice selection of drinks and it was busy. A band was setting up. Too bad the food was mediocre. Applebee’s is a hundred time better. Plus many items you see online, they no longer carry like fried chicken. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed from my last visit. Their lunch/dinner is great bbq is delicious as has always been with baja bbq pit and now in their new place here. But last Saturday I went in for breakfast with nothing short of great expectations and what I got was everything but. They mention hash brown in the platter got undercooked potatoes with veggies than seemed to have been made hours ago instead, cold bread instead of toast, cold and seemed like barely heated frank sausages. My girlfriend ordered a steak omelette, cheapest cut of meat they could find and undercooked. I would be embarrassed to serve such a thing. Also drinks were as flat as flat could be. I ate here with my wife on August 21, 2022 for the first time. It was a beautiful day. Lots of free parking. The front of the restaurant is a very rustic ranch theme. We were promptly greeted and given our choice of where to sit. Our server was polite, attentive and answered our questions. Our food was prepared quickly and delivered hot to the table. We both ordered pork ribs. The meat slid right off the bone. The meat was a little dry but still very delicious. The corn could have been dressed with a little butter, salt and black pepper.
