Visiting from Orange County, CA. I've been to Napa, Sonoma, & Tuscany. We did the 9 wine tasting. 4 Wines were decent (Chardonnay - crisp, refreshing and reminded me a little of a Portuguese Vinho Verde, and Reserve stood out), and 5 were borderline not good. That being said, we had a really, really great time and I still took home 2 bottles. I would definitely return. I came with low expectations on the wine. Its not a winery in Tuscany with hundreds of years of experience, they've got a few dogs on their menu, but....still they have a few decent ones. I'm certain as time goes on they'll keep improving, and I'll be happy to watch them grow. The view was beautiful, it was exceptionally peaceful, each outdoor party was spread out from each other. We speak fluent Spanish - but I heard our server speak English pretty OK. It's a dog-friendly place. The road in was dusty, but well kept, a few avoidable dirt potholes. We came in a Multi-family group with 4 children in our party 8, 6, 4, 2 year old and they had space to explore a little and play some tag without interrupting other parties. Our server was a little slow with the 9 wine tasting we ordered, so we asked him to speed it up, and he did. The bathrooms were clean...

Vinos Xecue – enchanting & unforgettable

We were looking for a new vineyard to try along the Wine Route at Valle de Guadalupe and found Vino Xucue was highly rated and looked lovely with a fully 360 degree experience we were looking for: and we were not disappointed.

Martin was our sommelier and he took incredible care of us, speaking English so that most of our group could follow along.

We ordered small bites that were simply indulgent: each bite was hand crafted onsite and tasted phenomenal. We weren’t rushed and took our time enjoying the 5-lable tasting. We wandered the grounds and soaked in the incredible scenery along the valley, the rolling hills filled with vineyards and punctuated with lavender to make the whole experience something out of a storybook.

Martin took the time to help some in our party who had never before done a tasting, which was really helpful for me (not a novice but nowhere close to a pro).

The wines were delicious, made all the more flavorful as learned the notes beforehand so our palates could get the cheat code.

Even though there are so many wineries left to discover on The Wine Route in Ensenada, we would definitely return to Vino Xecue because the experience was simply...

We had a reservation and arrived 15 min early. We were greeted by Armando (our sommelier - who was AMAZING) and we initially sat outside overlooking the vineyard. Beautiful and peaceful views. For the wine tasting, we came inside as it was chilly. There are 3 options you can choose from. 9 varieties white and red, 5 white varieties or 3 white, 2 red varieties. I have to say that Armando was absolutely lovely and attended us extremely well. He made it a wonderful experience and I do plan on returning. The wines were very nice and we went home with 2 bottles, one of Reserva and one Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a wonderful building with glass walls which allow you to appreciate the vineyard, valley and mountain view even from inside. I can highly recommend selecting this vineyard as one to visit when you are in the area. If you get Armando, he will be sure that you have a lovely...

This place has beautiful views. I love the fact that you can sit either inside or outside; you have almost a 360° view of the valley. Our server Ismael was amazing ..very knowledgeable. We did the wine tasting along with the toasted bread with brie, which was beautifully presented on a wooden oblong platter, adorned with cute little toasts with brie and fruit and cheese, and honey. It was absolutely delicious… nom nom. It was a little bit of a trek to get here, but well worth it :-) on another note, there were a couple of cute dogs here that were super super friendly and loved to be petted. We really enjoyed that aspect of well not sure if they will be here next time, but we did enjoy them
