We came to this place late at night and so we had to have someone open to gate for us which was just fine and expected. We arrive and there are 7-8 friendly, goofy doggies running around all owned by the owner and his neighbor. Some were puppies and very energetic. Some were older and more chill. All I know this they were all cute. If you don’t like dogs you can request them to be locked up I think. We came RIGHT as a hurricane was going on in La Paz hundreds of miles away and we were tent camping not glamping in the air streams. It was a wet night but got to enjoy coffee in the airstream in the morning talking to Cesar the owner and having a good time. I LOVED Cesar’s basset hound Toby. So cute but you cannot trust him. Make sure you keep your food safe. He stole 6 of our empanadas we were planning on eating for dinner and we chased him to an airstream he was hiding under and he ate the whole damn bag of empanadas in 1 minute. So just give him pets and loveys and hang onto your food and you’ll be fine :-) ||||The staff was very accommodating. The kitchen area which also has a flat screen tv, hammock, tables and chairs was really fun to hang out in. We watched the Mexico Germany game for the World Cup when Mexico won and it was a fun experience watching it with the other Glampers.||||I would do this again hands down, but in an...
Read moreI traveled to the valley in a group of 4 women from LA. We could not have felt safer while we were here! There are several friendly dogs on the location that are great with humans but are also protective of the land, which adds to the comfort level. Other reviewers who have complained about the site perhaps don't camp - this is an upscale campsite. The airstreams are wired with power, but plumbing is only to a central location with toilets and 2 showers. One of the showers is so nice you feel like you're in a rustic spa! The staff is incredibly friendly and my 3 friends who do not speak Spanish were able to communicate without any problem. The airstreams (because they are airstreams) are not insulated at night and the valley does drop in temp, so I would be sure to bring your own sleeping bags and a towel for your use at the shower. If you need to stay in a hotel, this isn't your spot. If you love being in the outdoors while having some creature comforts and being among the stars, you will love this place. For the price, location, and safety, this really cannot be beat in the valley. I would definitely come back on a return trip! This is a campsite - don't expect it to be spotlessly clean, but they do...
Read moreCool concept that lays out great - makes for a great view. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice common space. Company also offers bike and tuktuk rentals, which was convenient. Awesome dog pack on the property and our canines loved all the space to run around. It seems like were charged more (though only slightly) as a walk-in than if we had rented on Airbnb, which seemed strange. Airstreams were charming, but seemed incomplete in their finishings - tables and chairs in some, not in others, etc.; also, they were pretty cold and not enough warm bedding was provided... my guess is that the hosts would have delivered if we asked for more, but we had sleeping bags and extra gear in the car - probably a...
