Mi Espacio Guanajuato — Restaurant in Celaya

I'm going to grade this place in different aspects, the first is the location, which is great the restaurant is located in downtown and its in like a minimall, it is surrounded by a bar and some other stores that were brought by the government for tourism, where you can buy local products. They have several prizes displayed at the entrance. The tables and chairs are folkloric, and by that I mean they have different artistic or historical scenes or characters on them, carved on the wood. And they are comfortable. The food is great, it's very rewarding to the palate and the presentation is attractive. Those were the good points, I mean, I would repeat my experience there if they assure me that they have improved the following: Bad and slow service, it seems like the waiters don't really want to work there, I mean a soda took almost 15 min to arrive, and only after we reminded him about it. The food also took ages to arrive, more than expected in a normal restaurant. Plus we had to change the order one time because after all the time the waiter came back to say that they didn't have the ingredients. What they were doing all this time? Who knows! Lot of flies, you would expect flies on the street cars, but in the restaurant? What about electric zappers, or any other kind of devices to make your stay better. I left a written review noticing these points so maybe they would improve, I hope because the food is pretty good, that what save it...

Este recinto consiste de dos áreas con diferente menú y diferente atmósfera, Mi Espacio Guanajuato, en la planta baja, y La Terraza en la planta alta. Comimos en La Terraza que ofrece una vista espectacular de la zona más emblemática de Celaya: la Catedral, el Templo de San Francisco, la Bola del Agua y la Calzada Independencia. El menú ofrece platillos muy originales, especialmente el lechón en salsa de cajeta que combina sabores locales, presentado magníficamente. Los otros platillos que degustamos fueron igualmente deliciosos. La decoración de Mi Espacio es impresionante y merece una visita especial sólo para admirar las mesas, sillas y barra de madera tallada por artesanos locales. ¡Altamente recomendado!

This establishment consists of two dining areas with different menus and different atmospheres: Mi Espacio Guanajuato, on the ground floor, and La Terraza, on the upper floor. We ate at La Terraza, which offers a spectacular view of Celaya's most iconic landmarks: the Cathedral, the Church of San Francisco, the Bola del Agua, and the Calzada Independencia. The menu offers very original dishes, especially the suckling pig in cajeta (dulce de leche) sauce, which combines local flavors and is beautifully presented. Visitamos el lugar para probar el nuevo concepto de desayunos qué han implementado recientemente. Chilaquiles verdes con huevo estrellado el cual carecía totalmente de sazón, salsa pasada de amargor, sin suficiente salsa en los chilaquiles y estos mismos carentes de de sabor característico de chips dorados, frijoles negros molidos igualmente sin sabor y pareciera que salieron de alguna lata. Molletes con chorizo igualmente carentes de sazón, pan brioche de sandwich algo quemado en la cara donde los frijoles reflejaban mejores días y sobre ellos cubos insignificantes de chorizo pasado de dorado, cabe mencionar que el pan en su cara interna no le llegó la flama, picó de gallo excedente de limón el cuál al combinarlo con el mollete nada tenía que ver porque opacaba aún mas los sabores inexistentes. Jugó de naranja con hielo lo cuál diluia el sabor aún diluido ya de por sí en el jugo. Café de olla con sabor a chocolate en agua. En general totalmente mediocre cómo desayuno.

La opinión fue solamente de lo que ordenamos cómo desayuno ya qué nunca se tenía está opción con anterioridad, sin embargo hemos visitado el lugar por años y dentro de la mestiza cómo en la terraza o el menú de comida del mismo restaurante siempre han sido de nuestro agradó así cómo el de toda la gente aquien se lo...
