We brought friends here to have shrimp and drinks. This is not a restaurant, but rather an experience one should do when they visit Mazatlan. On one side of the street are the Shrimp Ladies. It is a group of Ladies, who under the protection of 15 or so blue and white umbrellas, sell shrmp of all sizes, as well as some fish and lobsters. Once you've purchased your shrimp you can cross the street and have it cooked here for 70 pesos for each style of preparation. We chose breaded, garlic & butter and Diablo. You pay for the preparation and any drinks.
We ate 1.5 kilos, 3.3lbs, of shrimp, drank 1 pop and 5 beers. The cost for everything was 683 pesos. About $40 US.
