A Puerta Abierta — Restaurant in Chiapas

A Puerta Abierta is an interesting, upstairs little restaurant with a limited but tasty menu. I give it only four stars, however, because the Jamaica came unsweetened with a jar of chemicals that could somehow be applied to it to make it drinkable.

They did not give me a dead chicken and some grass and tell me to fix my own food, but they did do the equivalent with the drink, so don't order a drink here and you'll do ok.

A few tables were taken when I arrived. A guy eating at one of these tables got up and found a menu for me. Apparently, you grab a menu from somewhere as you enter. I got up after a while to place my order, and the same guy came over to tell me he'd place my order. He did that and then returned to eat. H That guy is either really helpful or he's the waiter, I figure.

I'm happy now, at home, to finally have...
