Café De Yara — Restaurant in Chiapas

BE VERY PRECISE WHEN YOU ORDER AT THIS CAFE !!!

I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free and corn-free.

My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling.

In the afternoon my husband and I stopped at Café De Yara for a refreshment, and we had 2 fresh juices and a plate of fresh fruit. We looked at the menu and decided to bring the whole family for dinner the same night.

For dinner I ordered a veggie soup and a salad and removed chicken, cheese and asked for dressing on the side. I told the waiter that I don't eat meat, milk, cream, cheese and gluten. The waiter showed that she understood.

My salad was tossed in yoghurt and serves with gluten crackers, and my veggie soup was on chicken broth. I couldn't eat any of it 😭

When I told the waiter about the mistake, she implied that it was my mistake, I had not said "without yogurt", and she made no attempt to correct the mistake.

Great place for breakfast or some sandwiches. Coffee is delicious. Would definitely come again if I had the chance. The portions are huge and very tasty! Unfortunately it opens at 8 am so we had to look for another breakfast option the other day. They offer club sandwich for sharing which us the perfect meal for two people in between times. Acudí por las revisiones, en efecto el sabor de los platillos bueno, el café lo mejor y por eso regresamos… Sin embargo, su gran área de oportunidad es el servicio hoy pedi los tamales chiapanecos y el mesero me dijo que eran uno y uno y me dieron 2 iguales, siento que fue lo que tenían porque no se parecen en nada a la foto expuesta en la revisión El servicio muy lento, ibamos en familia y comimos a destiempo, por cierto los niños al final , no priorizaban a los niños. También restringen los panecitos y prácticamente dan largas para servirlos, lo mismo en las servilletas, de las tres ocasiones en que acudí nunca había en la mesa y tienes que pedir y pedir, prácticamente hoy tuve que usar mis klenex Es una lástima, hubiera puesto una buena revisión, sin embargo, pongo mis comentarios porque creo que se deben ocupar más en la atención al cliente ( hoy al finalizar el desayuno, pedimos un par de frapes clásicos, el mesero los llevó con chantillí y cuando se le dijo que no era correcta la orden, simplemente con molestia fué y estaba quitándole el dulce y pretendía dárnoslo asi, cómo si nos los estuviera regalando) nos molestamos por ello ..al final lo sirvieron de nuevo pero una muy mala experiencia y por eso no volveremos pues no quedan ganas de ser maltratados cuando uno va a pasar un buen rato y...
