Helechos restaurantes — Restaurant in Chiapas

I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free and corn-free.

My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling.

At the Helechos Restaurante there was nothing to fit my diet on the menu because the veggie soup was made with chicken broth.

However the chef was very helpful and made a special dish just for me with veggies and roasted potatoes 🥔 🥕🥬

At first it looked phenomenal: finally a fat-free hot gluten-free vegan meal for me 🤩 However the vegetables was cooked in chicken broth 😭 which suprised me, because I have told the waiter that I don't eat chicken broth when I asked about the veggie soup.

However, I was full from the baked potato which I ate with a wonderful chunky guacamole on top 👍🏼 not fat free but at least oil free 😉

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums (ca. 5min Laufzeit vom Park entfernt).

Wir wurden sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bedient und haben ausgezeichnet gegessen. Es gibt verschiedene Fleisch und Fischgerichte auf der Karte.

Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können es...
