Mercado San Benito — Restaurant in Chihuahua

This used to be my favorite place to go eat. However, a few days ago my family and I decided to go. We never had a bad experience after this day. We waited for an hour and a half. People were still showing up and they were letting them in. I decided to talk to one of the ladies who was at the door. She rudely told me that they still had no tables available. I was okay I understand that part. But why are you letting people in who just got here? Then I asked her if she could sit us outside because all the tables were available or if she could add some chairs to a big table they had in the corner. She then started to ignore me. One of the managers came. And rudely said to me and mom and to another lady what was going on. She just started saying that her policy didn’t let her move the tables or chairs or sit us outside. She then started saying if I didn’t like her policies then I should leave. The manager raised our voice to us. My family and I decided to leave after them treating us professionally. Never coming back to this place again. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! & They also erased my comment...

Had a very bad experience, found a fly under my salad to start and the Manager came to give excuses on why it was there. He offers dessert and coffee to compensate for the inconvenience yet post a charge for the coffee plus a refill which never happened. To make matters worse, the waitress brings the reciept and I first informed her that the coffee was supposed to be free along with the dessert as per the managers statement she is friendly and goes to speak with the Manager. She returns stating the coffee was not included and was asked to call the Manager to speak with him. She returns a third time and rudely throws a corrected reciept to the table and walks away and Manager never came to speak with me. Never again will I visit this place nor do I recommend it to anyone, if I could give it zero...

Lets be straight with Mercado San Benito, it is an amazing looking restaurant, with worst service ever, and overpriced food that looks good, but it has no taste. They need to hire waiters and waitresses, because I saw 4 standing next to my table just having fun, and none could fix me a drink because they were not taking care of my table. Also, they need to hire a chef, because they forgot to add flavor to the food. Finally, if you love waiting an hour o hour and half for table, and aditionally 45 min to get your food served, look no further, they take long enough to wish you ordered dinner early in the lunch time.
