I travel into Mexico regularly, but it is the first time back in Acuna for over a decade. We stopped at the Chamber in Del Rio (great group of people!) to get a lay of the land and their opinion of the safety of Acuna. I was VERY sceptical when they said that Acuna is very safe. I had seen this cafe when researching, but usually cross back over the border to eat. After being in Acuna for less than an hour, realized they were correct at the chamber; it felt quite safe.
