On my return visit to this establishment, I opted for the pikanja, a DIY-style beef dish that allows diners to cook the meat to their desired doneness right at the table. To complement the richness of the beef, I also ordered a side of fresh green vegetables, providing a welcome balance and aiding digestion. One of the worst meals I've had in a restaurant in a while. Ordered a cut of beef that was described on the menu as imported Angus beef, and it was quite expensive. The cut I received was obviously of inferior quality. When I inquired they admitted that the beef I received was domestic, not imported, was not what was on the menu, explaining that that cut was now much more expensive. So, they purposely gave me inferior meat than I ordered, AND REFUSED TO ADJUST THE BILL ACCORDINGLY. Don't eat here if you expect to get what you order, or pay for. What's on the menu is not what...

I was in Saltillo for 2 weeks. I was there previously in the Fall of 2021. I visited El Meson Principal in the Fall and had to go back when I was back in town to share the experience with my coworker. We enjoyed so much we chose to return again during this 2 week trip. in all occasions the food was great, the atmosphere is nice, clean and relaxing. I love the uniforms of the wait staff and their attention to detail is fantastic. I highly recommend you visit. I know I will return on my my next trip...
