We went to Kokoro cafe' on a Saturday morning, 10/2/21 and that was our first time there.
FOOD: We ordered one slice of Carrot Cake, one Nutella filled crêpe. CARROT CAKE= it was good, the flavor was there. The cream cheese topping was too heavy for me, but it had a good flavor regardless. You could tell it was fresh and made with good ingredients. I enjoyed it. NUTELLA FILLED CREPE= It was good and a very good flavor. Strawberries were fresh and flavorful.... and Nutella? well, Nutella is Nutella (it makes your day even during a hurricane). so, yes, it was a good Crepe and we enjoyed eating it.
DRINK/BEVERAGES: we ordered two cappuccinos and they were very good (extremely hot). Fresh whole milk and a very good coffee made one of the best cappuccinos I have ever had in my life. Lovely balanced flavor with a thick soft foam on top.... We enjoyed sipping our cappuccino while relaxing in the outside patio. amazing!
STAFF: The girl that took our order was nice and friendly. The lady that served us was also friendly and nice, she attended us in a professional and kind manner. thanks!
RESTROOMS: restrooms were nice and clean. neat, they had toilette paper, running water, hand soap, paper towel and trash bin. But the star of the restroom was definitely a small shelf right over the toilet paper that holds your mobile phone while you are focused on your "number 2" task.
CLEANLINESS: The place is clean and neat, even the outside patio was taken care of. great.
PLACE: Very nice place to have a relaxing breakfast! well furnished and a great Décor, is well designed in each single detail. inside they have a wall full of custom jewelry, beauty products and hand made bags, hand made clothes and hand made hats (hand made in Mexico). The restaurant itself has a very good vibe and offers way more than just a breakfast. Here you can have lunch or dinner in one of the many tables available. Inside they have a sofa section super comfy, cozy and relaxing. They have a patio that you can only access from Inside the cafeteria, it is absolutely nice and comfy.... many sofa and alot of greenery around you, it has a great vibe. Right Outside of the Cafeteria, within the same premises, you can find a small Boutique shop (Mexico Chic) and if you want to visit it, just ask at the Cafeteria main counter (where you order and pay). A Super plus considering the Boutique has alot of fashion clothes and custom made jewelry. Awesome!
LOCATION: located on one of the main streets of Monclova.
PRICE: fair prices.
CONCLUSIONS: We will definitely...
Read morePrices Versus taste is really worthy. I have to say that variety is much better than Starbucks. Their coffee is good and great size mugs. Honestly I found it really nice to stay and read a book or simply have a good chat with someone. This is a kind of coffee where I would be back many times for sure, and off course I...
Read moreAmazing. Coffee was good, not like the typical iced coffee I've found in Mexico. The ham and eggs were great. My daughter's ate them so unfortunately no pics. Hot cakes and pancakes are different and they served them differently, correctly. Everything was spot on. Environment is very...
