Pata Salada Beach Bar — Restaurant in Colima

Español: el restaurante es muy lindo pero la pasamos muy mal por la atención y la comida. Si puede que hayan estado teniendo un día complicado por ser de los pocos restaurantes abiertos el 1ero de enero pero estoy completamente arrepentida de haber ido. En primer lugar, no conseguíamos a la persona que te asignaba una mesa, después de dar un par de vueltas por el restaurante nos ayudaron a sentarnos. Cerca de la playa, la mesa era bastante agradable. Prometía una buena noche. Sin embargo todo empezó cuando nadie nos trajo menú, tuvimos que tomarlos de otra mesa que estaba vacía. Iniciamos con unos tragos (que llegaron tarde) y un guacamole (que nunca llegó). Cuando nos trajeron los tragos, estábamos listos para ordenar. Decidimos pedir 2 órdenes de tacos: camarón y atún. Llegaron fríos y ya eso les quitó lo apetecible, pero teníamos todo el día sin comer así que nos los terminamos y pedimos dos tragos más y otra orden de tacos. La última orden de tacos nunca llegó, decidimos pararnos, cancelar la última orden de tacos y pagar directamente en caja. Aun así nos preguntaron si dejábamos propina y aun así dejamos. La verdad es que muy mala la experiencia y a pesar que estaba muy lindo el local, no volvería a ir.

English: the restaurant is very nice but we had a very bad time because of the attention and the food. Yes, they may have been having a difficult day being one of the few restaurants open on January 1st but I completely regret going. First of all, we could not find the hostess, after going around the restaurant a couple of times they helped us find a table. The spot was quite nice, close to the beach. It promised a good night. However, it all started to go wrong when no one brought us a menu, we had to take it from another table that was empty. We started with a few drinks (which were late) and a guacamole (which never came). By the time they brought us our drinks, we were ready to order. We went for 2 orders of tacos: shrimp and tuna. They arrived cold and really weren't any good, but we hadn't eaten all day so we finished them off and ordered two more drinks and another order of tacos. Amazing restaurant right at the beach in Manzanillo. Located at las Brisas area, you'll be amazed with the views, seating at the beach is the best feeling you can have. Their food is freshly made service is excellent, the team wants you to have the vest experience! The ceviches are not the typical colima style which is a great thing, you can flavor more Southern American seafood cooking resembles more of Chilean or peruvian style. I've been to this place 3 times. The first one was ok, I only had a couple of drinks, second one was more or less, the manager didn't have places for me and my +1 however he had nice spots for a couple of white people, third time was awful, the waiter was very rude, he asked us twice if we were ready, only a few minutes apart one another. Then he ignored us until one of my colleagues said twice that we were ready, then he handed over food menus to us without saying a single word, until my same colleague said "well, you won't say anything"? Anyway, I think there is something against local customers, it seems USD money is more important to the restaurant management and crew. I think I won't come to this place again.

He ido a este lugar tres veces, la primera estuvo bien, solo un par de copas tomé, la segunda estuvo más o menos, el pulpo no es lo mejor que he probado, estaba demasiado suave de las orillas, los camarones bomba, sin embargo estaban ricos. La tercera vez estuvo horrible, el mesero nos preguntó un par de veces si ya estábamos listos para ordenar, solo con unos minutos de separación la una de la otra, después nos ignoró hasta que una de mis colegas le dijo, dos veces, que ya estábamos listos. Después el mesero nos dio menús de comida sin decir una sola palabra, hasta que la misma colega le dijo "¿bueno pero sin ninguna palabra?" y ya comenzó a hablar un poco. No sé si sea un comportamiento regular hacía los clientes locales y si consideren que nuestro dinero no importa, pero creo que tienen que mejorar su actitud hacia la gente local.
