Libélula — Restaurant in Compostela

We have visited three times in the past week, after we stumbled on it during a lazy walk. So far we've had two breakfasts and a dinner. We plan on working our way through their menu before we leave.

The best chilaquiles ever. A wonderful mediterranean salad. Delicious mahi-mahi. A smoothie so thick I needed a spoon. They grind their own peanut butter and make a unique drink of hibiscus flowers and ginger. Their bread is beautiful.

This was our favorite place to eat in Los Ayala hands down. Not only can they speak 3 languages, the menu is printed in 2 languages. The owners truly care for the quality of service, the cleanliness, and Chef Oscar delivers beautifully presented meals that are delicious. This restaurant is inside Bungalows Islas Careyes near the pool. Today was their first day open and it was a great success. The menu includes breakfast and lunch options. The staff were very friendly and spoke Spanish and English. The area is very clean. There are washrooms and a hand washing area. We had a delicious lunch. The Thai salad was very tasty and fresh. You can add chicken or bacon for an extra cost. We are looking forward to going back for breakfast...
