El Caminero 2 — Restaurant in Durango

A family member brought me here to try this place, particularly for its Al Pastor. I decided to try the ribs and callejo as well. While the food was decent, I’ve certainly had better tacos elsewhere. The flavors were fine, but they didn’t leave a lasting impression. That said, the service was efficient, and the line moved quickly, which made the experience smooth and hassle-free.

If you happen to be in the area, it might be worth stopping by to check it out, especially if you’re a fan of Al Pastor or looking for a quick bite. While it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me, tastes are subjective, and others might find it more satisfying. This place was packed when we visited. But honestly they're tacos are "ok". Their menu selection is limited to asada and pastor, that's it. I went because the placed was recommended by a family member, but I was somewhat disappointed. I was expecting "more". I don't think I'd go back, specially with all the food and tacos restaurants Durango has to offer. I think I'll try a different restaurant before going back to this one. This place was popping! Got there around 7 pm, and the place was packed. We were second in line. Waited in line for about 5 minutes for a table. Worth it!

The bus person took our orders, so the Service was pretty fast. I ordered al Pastor, asada and mollejas. Delicious! The Frijoles ranchero were tasty too.

By the time we left there were several people in line, so be prepared to wait a couple minutes...
