Let me start by saying that after watching Mark Wiens episode where he travels south of Mexico in search of good mole, my husband and I decided we would too but here in Baja. We’ve looked from Tj all the way to Camalu. It’s no secret Baja has the best tacos and birria. But it’s hard to find good authentic mole. I can now say I finally found the place 🥹 !! It’s so good I want to cry 🤣 Cristy the cook at Azteca’s makes authentic mole, estilo puebla…She’s an awesome cook! Felicidades Cristy tu si sabes de cocina.

Empezaré platicándoles que desde que mi esposo y yo miramos el episodio de Mark Wiens donde viaja al sur de México en busca de un buen mole, decidimos hacer lo mismo pero aquí en la Baja. Hemos buscado desde Tijuana asta Camalu, sin mucha suerte. No es secreto que la Baja tiene los mejores tacos y birria (en mi opinión), pero muy difícil de encontrar un buen mole auténtico como en el sur de México. Food is ok, Not the best taste, probably understaffed? Food took almost 38 minutes to come out and I was the only person in the restaurant, Definitely not a coming back place. Service was ok. I was hoping for...
