Check your BILL before paying! Add the totals of your food items and calculate the tax yourself. They added the food items wrong and wanted to charge us tax based on that higher amount. We did our own math, and the total food price plus the 8% tax amount that they charge was significantly lower than what they wanted us to pay. It was a $47 dollar difference! Yikes. We felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on us. They didn't even apologize for charging us incorrectly. Furthermore, if you can pay in pesos, do so. They take the dollar at a conversion of 18 (which is much lower than everywhere else). In addition, we had to wait more than 5 minutes so that they could connect the wifi and get a strong enough connection to charge our debit card. We dont mind paying accordingly, but the food was sub par. No real flavor in the meals we ordered. The view is great and there is free parking. However, we chose this place because the gentleman outside said there was live music and unfortunately there was no live music at all. As others have mentioned, restrooms are definitely not...
Read moreThis was a pretty disappointing experience. I have never left a poor review but I felt ripped off. We wanted to eat there because the view looked amazing, and we were willing to spend a little more to have what you think would be awesome food (you pay more you expect more right??)!
Food: Came out cold. It was bland and the portions were small. I had enchiladas and tasted like then sauce was canned and the meat was preheated. All of us had different items and we all had poor experiences. Low quality food for a very high price.
Service: They took a long time to take our order, give us our food, and take our check. We were overcharged on a soup that costed far more than advertised price. Still not sure what happened.
Atmosphere: They had live music and a view of then water front. It was beautiful, but the lack of care of the staff and gross food made us feel like we were scammed. This is a tourist trap.
Eat at Lidias Taco’s instead. We went there the next day and it was so much better, and a...
Read moreOverpriced. They have a great view, but thats all they have going for them. They went far above a normal price range. -300 for fajitas mixtas, not the best really. -190 for 3 cheese oysters, ok but needs more flavor -190 for fried tilapia, it was actually decent flavor -50 bucks a can of soda, I had 2 -80 bucks a medium cup of horchata, I felt like it was powdered horchata not fresh but whatever thats my taste buds -PLUS tax. Normally tax is already included in the food price here in Mexico but the lady was adding everything and then she's like "oh plus 8.5% tax" so I asked isn't that normally included in the plate price? She said not here. Total of 983 for 2 people. I paid i didn't make a fuse but don't fall...
