Tacos El Original P.V.I. — Restaurant in Ensenada

My local taqueria has some of the best food anywhere. Hands down Tacos El Original food is outrageously good. The cabeza tacos with everything and aguacate are my favorites. My son loves their al pastor, particularly in tortas. Tacos aren’t the miniature sized creations that someone in the US dreamed up and called “street tacos”. No, these are real Mexican tacos with a 6 inch corn tortilla and lots of filling. The tortillas and the fillings made out in the open with plenty of fresh vegetables to munch on, to have grilled, or to put on your taco. You can order at the counter or you can find a table and the mesera will take your order and deliver your food usually in under 2 minutes. There are plenty of other items on the menu but just why? The tacos are so good I’ve never gotten around to ordering anything else. To drink they have aguas frescas and bottled sodas. Prices are excellent. Very good food here. You can see them making tortillas on site. Mainly locals eating there but they happily accommodated us (despite our lack of Spanish) and accepted USD. We had driven past the previous evening and saw it was really busy. We ate the multida specials - they made mine vegetarian by request. Others were eating tacos. The decor is simple and opens out to the main road. There is street parking (free) at the front of the restaurant. We all really enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend...

Honestly very good. Been to a handful of taco spots around here over The years and this is a nice spot to sit down order some food and eat. Very chill spot super nice workers. Don’t order too much because these tacos are full. You won’t eat as many as you might think. Happened to me and when I asked for a box they worker took my food and boxed it up for me.
