Villa Marina – A Hidden Gem in Ensenada with Incredible Seafood and Ocean Views

During our cruise stop in Ensenada, Mexico, we looked up the best seafood in town and found Villa Marina—and it did not disappoint. From the street, it might not look like much, but once you step inside, you're greeted with a classy, elegant dining room and breathtaking ocean views. The tables are set right up against the glass, giving you an uninterrupted view of the water.

The food was outstanding—beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. The seafood tacos, served on light, homemade tortillas, were bursting with flavor. The margaritas were top-notch, and the lemon pie was not only stunning to look at but also tasted amazing.

Excelente views and plate presentation. However, we had some issues. First, the food was not tasty. The rice was too spicy, like paella rice, which distorted the taste of the fish; of the "aguachile tricolor" dish, only green aguachile was good, the black one was horribly salty; "campechana" cocktail was good but not delicious. Second the service, waiters are kind but not very careful when talking to each other, they speak with bad words and talk with that lenguage between the client's tables. Also, while we were eating they moved the furniture to accommodate tables and chairs, passing the tables over our heads without making us any precautionary comment or, worse, without protecting our plates from the possible dust that could fall from the furnitures. A rare and unpleasant experience for the four of us who went to eat at 1:30 pm. I would not go back, there are better seafood places...

This restaurant blew my mind and my taste buds!! I came to this restaurant with no expectations and was truly given a once in a lifetime experience of authentic Mexican/Ensenada style food. The service is extremely attentive and bow to your every need. They work so hard to make sure you are happy. Everything I was thinking they were providing ahead of my request. Unbelievable!!I felt so grateful for them and their attentiveness to heighten our experience. The food surpasses all expectations. And it comes from the kitchen so fast. We ate A LOT!!!! YUMMMM!! And my birthday song was great!! Thanks so much to the kitchen and the service crew!! I’ll be back and will highly recommend this place! The only complaint is that the completely Amazing view was slightly obstructed by semi dirty windows. Not a big deal...
