Outrageous wait times for a halfway decent pizza at a cash-only restaurant. There really should be a sign at the entrance that says “CASH ONLY”—I only found out after waiting 20 minutes to be seated when I saw it on the menu. Arriving close to 10 pm, there was still a considerable wait, and trying to get on the waitlist was chaotic since the person in charge was nowhere to be found, which was frustrating. After finally getting my name down, I waited another 20 minutes to be seated on the outside patio.
It took another 10 minutes just to receive the menu and place my order. Then, I waited nearly 40 minutes for my pizza, which is absurd for a restaurant nearing closing time, especially when most of the tables were already empty. I ordered half primavera and half del bosque—neither of which was impressive. The primavera was slightly better, but nothing memorable.
The only saving grace was the decent service from the guy managing the waitlist (who also seemed to be taking orders) and the server who brought my pizza and handled payment. The pizza itself, which serves at least two people, was also reasonably priced. Even though the menu warns about wait times and being cash-only, the long wait just before closing was unnecessary. And honestly, who doesn’t accept cards nowadays? I’d recommend finding another place for pizza that’s...
Read moreA couple of years ago, literally, it was the best, and I really mean it, the best pizza place in town. I went there today and something changed... It is still the most romantic place you can take your date to, service is great but, as I am saying, something changed. This was not the place where you would find people drinking soda, or two z-gen teens worried more about documenting their moment on social network than actually enjoying their selves in such an intricate atmosphere, unfortunately, now you do see these things going on. Let's talk about the food tho, I remember I used to argue with food enthusiast which one was the best pizza place in town, inevitably, the list narrow itself down to maybe 3 places, giuliette was one of those places... Today's experience was, by far the most disappointing one I've ever had here, the chimichurri was plane, the dough was not interesting and the canvas of flavors were very simple. This is not the restaurant it used to be, something changed for the worst. I wished it hadn't gotten so popular as it is now, maybe that way, customer service and flavor would be their only concern, rather than satisfying the needs of the esnob, stuck up, prepy people now crowds...
