The location and view is beautiful, nice view to the valley of oak trees and the restaurant is located on about 6500 feet which always gives a little more refreshing climate. The restaurant is huge with lots of tables and seats inside, it's to crowded when it gets full, like usually on weekends. I went to the place first time 8 years ago and also just went again recently, because I like to go to Presa Peralillo which is closed by.
English versión. If you have already had breakfast at downtown, this is a good option to have breakfast outside Guanajuato and it is just about 15min. by car. Try to arrive earlier from 9:00 to 10:00am so you can have a table next to the windows section where you will have a beatiful view of the sierra during your stay. Try "café de la olla", it is sweet black coffee, sweetened with sugar cane. If you are not into sweet coffee just go for the "café americano". For a good breakfast go for the "huevos" and all its combinations moreover if still comfortable to eat more "tortillas" then go for the "chilaquiles" those are good options. My personal recommedation is: "Enchiladas suizas verdes" with chicken, which is chicken rolled with tortillas, covered with green souce, not spicy, and cheese. All this cooked...

It took us about 4.5 hours but there are several spectacular views! Monte de San Nicolas is one of the stops. Then delicious Enchiladas de Pollo and Flan are waiting...
