Taquería Crispin — Restaurant in Guanajuato

This is a great tradition in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. This is a Carnitas Tacos and Tortas place, however , and this is a big however, This carnitas and they way they serve them is unlike anyother place in Mexico, not that there are better because great carnitas are produced Country wide. What makes them different is that Mr Crispin , the one that started the tradition, are his very different recipe and ingredients added to the carnitas. Also the way they cook the belly is way different from any other part in the country and it's called ALDILLA( in the region you will find ALDILLA, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes , but it's different from the one they allow fried in Leon, Get a Torta of ALDILLA DORADITA , since the Bolillo(the bread) is also unique (as Birote is unique in Guadalajara to have a reference). This torta has salsa that can be described as a Pico de Gallo ( without the cilantro) with avocado , it's almost liquid but the blend is amazing since the avocado is more liquid so the onion , tomato an Chile serrano will complement perfectly, then they add cream , and the way Mr Crispin used to serve them was with Salsa Maga ( a local tastier Valentina or Cholula) . or get a Taco of ALDILLA DORADITA , con todo , if they did add the Salsa Maga , go ahead put some! AND BITE one of the Pickled jalapeños they have there the flavor of the whole combination of creamy,.meaty, salty, spicy and textures will have you have one after the other. Now you can order Buche, or Maciza . Go , the personnel and owners are great and they will welcome you always with a smile, do not miss it...

Son tacos de carnitas Ya sean dorados o blandos y también venden tortas

El sabor está bien, la cantidad de carne por taco esta bien también.

Nosotros llegamos por casualidad no sabíamos que vendían y en el lugar no cuentan con menú ni es posible ver qué cuestan los alimentos, eso es algo molesto y probablemente no sea lo correcto (ni aceptado por la Profeco), comimos 6 tacos y dos jugos y pague 290 pesos con propina en realidad no se cuánto valen las cosas pero están bien No son las mejores carnitas pero si estaban buenas y no muy grasosas
