We are staying across the street at Il Tropico. Chencho welcomed us here and helped us out of our cab and into our house. We walked straight over to his place for an amazing dinner. We’ve since gotten two take out orders, which they’ve delivered to our porch and pool. They couldn’t be any nicer, and our meals have been spectacular. We’ve eaten a few other places, which haven’t held a candle to Chencos. If we didn’t feel the need to explore, we’d be happy eating every meal...

This place is what you are looking for when you visit Tronchones. Very authentic, homemade Mexican cuisine!

We at here on our first night had a bit of an incident because we did not realize it was cash only. Once we finished our meal we did not have any pesos to pay! Despite out foolishness, the owner was very kind and said we could comeback to pay the next day.
