I would give this place 5 stars all the way across the spectrum if the owners would do one of two options. Either lower the temperature three degrees or turn on some fans for airflow. I have gone three times now to work on my computer. I leave the cafe smelling like I just left the gym as I have a constant sweat happening the whole time I am there. It's not exactly hot, but it's definitely NOT cool. It's just very very stuffy. I begin to glisten with sweat within 3 minutes of arrival. It's so sad because everything else about this place is essentially perfect! Great coffee and even Chinese Pu Er Cha tea! The cakes are to die for and they're big and really affordable. $7 usd for a cake big enough for 4 people! I just can't get comfortable. Also it's not a very good internet cafe as they do not have a place to plug in unless you take the one seat at the counter with the hard metal stool. They come so close, but like so many experiences in Zihuatanejo, they just completely miss the point about customer service and comfort perspective. The service is outstanding for Mexico, the food is very affordable and delicious. The place is clean and modern and looks like a chic atmosphere. Try staying for 2 hours and you'll have to go straight home to shower. I'm rooting for them to catch a clue people are hot in there. The waitstaff is also glistening. Don't cheap out on the A/C. I won't buy beverages from a warm fridge and I won't return to a stuffy, muggy coffee shop no matter how good...
Read moreI am happy to say that i came back here to give them another chance and it was so good. I think better than before. Its such an adorable place and has so much to offer. I had the citrus salad and it was delicious. Lots of good ingredients and with the oil and vinegar it was really tasty. Fresh greens, candied pecans, cranberry, cheese, pasta, sprouts… avocado! I got a few other things to go. I also had a tea and it was delicious. The vanilla syrup they gave me was amazing!
This used to be one of my favorite places in Zihua. We haven’t been here for three years and were so excited to come back. The food and service are good, just not great and I got three cakes to take home. Tres leches, coconut tres leches and Ferrero. I am so excited to eat my favorite cakes and was so disappointed. The tres leches was totally dry! No leches at all. Same with the other two. I even asked if the coconut was tres leches and was assured it was. The Ferrero cake was so dry we couldn’t even eat it and I paid 90 pesos. I don’t understand...
Read moreThis place is AMAZING! Wonderful service comfortable environment, they have AC, Wi-Fi, frappes, warm teas, and pastries. Such a comfortable coffee cafe it’s very spacious, Upstairs downstairs. It is also pet friendly! -The reason I give it four stars and not fire, is because we’ve been coming here for a week straight I know it sounds crazy, but there’s been amazing service and food until today every daye were here there was about the same staff, But today there was two different girls, they were sooo rude it honestly made me want to leave they really need to train those two on how to treat costumers if they want to keep them, there was a younger one with glasses that was sort of rude and the older one did not have glasses but my lord she needs to edicate herself on some good service etiquette! She was not patient, she would walk away in the middle of a conversation, she would not explain the menu, and basically just wanted to rush us to order it made me feel very uncomfortable. Besides that ordeal everything...
