A unusual circumstance because it was Christmas eve, so the menu wasnt available. Every item was $p500 and the service was lacking (frequency) despite not being too busy. Our server was a great guy but communication was not great and no offers for additional drinks or water throughout our stay. We waited 40 min for overcooked steak a few shrimp with no included appetizer or desert for what would have cost 1/3 the price on any other night. A very disappointing...

My husband and I ate at La Cantinita de Zihua for 4 dinners and 3 breakfasts and we loved EVERY meal we had. The food selection, taste, presentation, customer service… everything was 5 stars!!! We usually want to eat out and try different restaurants when we’re out of town, but the food was so good I didn’t want to take a chance at a different restaurant and regret it.

Worst "cantina" I've ever been to. They told me that I had to have dinner if I was to stay there, even though there were plastic tables and chairs and it was still in the afternoon. Most important, I would think a "cantina" would offer drinks without that remark. Think they're only interested in the tips from US or Canadian people.
