Mariscos El Sirenito — Restaurant in Guerrero

I visited this seafood restaurant in Acapulco during a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. The service was excellent; the waiters were cooperative and efficient, enhancing the dining experience.

We started with tacos, and I had a caldo de camarón con hueva. I ordered a Baja style shrimp taco and an octopus taco. The shrimp taco was crispy and perfectly balanced with fresh veggies. The octopus taco had a unique salsa that I couldn't quite identify, but it was delicious.

The caldo was good, though I felt the guajillo chile slightly overpowered the other flavors. However, the inclusion of hueva (fish eggs) added a tasty twist.

So to start I would like to say their food is great. We know that everyone likes different thing so I hope you enjoy their food as much as I did. Their service is good. The waiters are attentive and hoping you order more of course. So that is good. They do not have AC, but they have a bunch of fans that for those of us that can’t stand hot weather will find pretty comfortable for not been AC!!, so I am counting that you might not even notice it. El 27 de Diciembre del 2024 fuimos a comer en familia y a mí madre se le olvidó su monedero sobre la mesa, al regresar a pedir la devolución del monedero y solicitar apoyo de sus cámaras, la encargada dijo que había mucha gente y que no nos podían atender que hasta el otro día a las 11am, tenían varias cámaras donde si se podía ver la mesa donde nos habíamos sentado y sólo nos dieron los videos que quisieron.Checando los vídeos se ve que entre el mesero y la que limpia la mesa tomaron algo de la mesa de color negro (monedero) y el mesero se lo guarda en el mandil, total que no nos regresaron las pertenencias de mi mamá y la encargada supuestamente dijo que respondía por sus meseros pero prefirieron quedárselo y encubrirse entre ellos. Cabe mencionar que en ese monedero llevaba $10 mil pesos mi mamá. No nos resolvieron nada y por obvias razones los rateros se quedaron con el dinero.
