Our first pozole. Really enjoyed the broth but had anticipated that there would be more toppings. Possibly, our expectations were incorrect. The band was quite good and played many songs that we liked. The place was packed when we arrived, and after we had ordered, they asked if we would share our table with another couple, which we agreed to. That, and the noise, however, led to a number of unfortunate communications that led to us sharing our meal accompaniments with the other couple as we understood that they were for the table rather than for us. They forgot to bring the other couple their meal and our bill was combined with theirs. Overall, it was not the experience we...

Our local resident family brought us here on Pozole Thursday, the only day off the week they are open. We had all the different varieties of pozole (red, white and green; chicken and pork) plus a few appetizers and a few tooany beers. The food was delicious, but the atmosphere is the reason to stay. Every Thursday night, there is live music, but on our visit, we were treated to the musical stylings of Salim, a very talented, very soulful singer who got the crowd going with awesome renditions of favorite his by Juan...

Fantastic experience! Recommended by several locals, this did not disappoint. We enjoyed both the pozole verde and rojo while drinking micheladas and listening to the live music. One of the best we’ve tasted! The pre-pozole snacks were fantastic as well - they serve a platter with taquitos, chiles rellenos (omg so good!), chicharron and a few other bites. Awesome quality, great atmosphere, and a superb value. Wish we lived closer- we’d be...

This spot was recommended by our hotel manager as an authentic mexican pozole experience, but it seemed like more of a tourist attraction. Full of 65+ white tourists dancing to a live band doing 80's hits, it was not about the food at all. If you want to experience pozole, this is not the place. There are many better options. If you want a mid-day dance club for white tourists, this is exactly the place for you! It was fun, but I wouldn't come again.

The best carnitas and pozole available, possibly anywhere! Not easy to find but seriously worth it! Just ask the locals, and Thursday is a perfect time to go. We're back!! Thursday Nov 8th(mi cumpleaños) and I get to have THE best carnitas ever for my birthday! What a treat! Do yourself a favor and make it to Santa Priscas on any Thursday and get the carnitas, you will thank me. April 2019 Once again the best of carnitas, don't miss it!
