Los Arcos — Restaurant in Hidalgo

Was expecting more, but at the end I belive it wasn't worth the almost 4 hour drive to taste their food. Their food is ok, but I can get better food at 5 mins from my home. My not go back at all. Their consome was too dark for my opinion, the barbacoa wasn't by far anything close to the one at my hometown or where I live, their carnitas are ok but not worth their prices, their chicharrones de res, well those are ok too, but the ones at Alfajayuca are better. As I said before, to me, to my taste, to my personal opinion, to my family it is NOT woth the time for us to get there..

Siempre he venido a comer aquí. Las carnitas para mi son un éxito, en la CDMX no he encontrado unas que se le parezcan. Obviamente son superadas por las de Michoacán, pero al César lo que es del César. La última vez que fui no comí carnitas, pero si barbacoa de borrego. Pedimos surtido costilla, maciza y no recuerdo la ultima. Esta vez sentí que el sabor no era el mismo al de siempre, sin embargo, estaban rica. La mesera estaba un poco desatenta, pero se entiende porque estaba a reventar. Igualmente el chicharrón de res para mi no es de mi agrado, pero a mi familia si le gusta mucho. Otro punto a su favor es que las tortillas las hacen ellos. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque siento que ya está un poco más caro el precio para el sabor que nos ofrecieron la última vez y porque en una ocasión a la que fuimos a mi prima en su taco de carnitas le salió un pelo, pero eso no nos ha detenido de seguir...
