Carl's Jr — Restaurant in Jalisco

I LOVE Carl's Jr. Typically, the only time I am able to enjoy a meal there is at an airport while traveling. My husband and I recently had the opportunity to dine at the Carl's Jr. at the Guadalajara airport, while waiting to connect to our next flight. What a HUGE disappointment.

We placed our order and have to confirm with the girl taking it multiple times exactly what we wanted, attendant up-sized our orders to grande without asking. Whatever. Got our drinks, no straws available, all the tables were disgusting, cleaned our ourself with hand wipes that I had.

Our order was called, brought it back to the table, did not include the criss cut fries we had ordered and confirmed 5 times! Returned to the counter with the receipt, annoyed boy replaced the french fries with criss cuts. Returned to table, opened my sandwich and realized they did not give me the sandwich I had ordered and confirmed 5 times. I had ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich and received a regular chicken sandwich. Whatever! At this point I didn't care. I took a bite of the sandwich and the meat was literally like beef jerky. Likely freezer burned and grilled. There is no way that that meat should have left the kitchen and no way the cook would not have noticed. It was inedible and I threw it in the trash!

At least I had my criss cuts! Wrong! They were so cold and dry, they too were inedible! Had to have been sitting there for more than 30 minutes!

Shame on you Carl's Jr. Guadalajara Airport! You are not living up to the standards set by Corporation and you should lose...

To be clear, this location is in the airport near gate C34. Frustrating because usually there were between 3-5 people at the counter, 1 person on register, another calling names for completed orders...but only one register open. Right before it was my turn to order they opened a 2nd register.

1254pm Terribly slow. 11 people in line. 3 min. 1 person has advanced. Can't wait to see how long it takes to get the food. Will update and edit as needed. 102pm 8 min 3 orders taken. 110pm 16 min Cool! They've advanced the line 6 ppl in 16 min! Rocking it! 111pm 17 min 8 ppl advanced 116pm I ordered! 22 min to get thru 11 people. Got my food in 5 min, so that was better. Start to finish. Almost half an hour to get in line and get your food.

Food review: Asked for waffle fries. Got regular. Changed them out for cold old waffle fries. Yum. Burger was cold, old... sigh. Lettuce and tomato seemed crisp and fresh, so that's something. No lids for drink...sigh.... The impression is workers couldn't care less, or trained poorly, or undermanned (like, why couldn't one of the people standing at the counter upfront go back and help the person in the back who's actually making the burgers?), or likely some combination of these and other factors. Anyhoo....won't be wasting my time and...

Service was horrible! We were waiting for more than 30 minutes to receive our order and when we asked for a follow up, they said they didnt know what we ordered! They weren't making our food until we came up and ask for a follow up. If we hadn't asked, who even knows if the order would have reached us. They didnt even bother asking what we ordered, instead they waited for us to tell them that we have been waiting for a long time, then there, they asked for our receipt so that they can see what we ordered and there, they start making them.

Horrible service. Go to the subway instead...
