Great colonial Mexican Town! You'll find authentic Mexican cuisine. Plenty of cobblestone streets.

If you're feeling adventurous rents an ATV and take it to the top of La Buffa. It's a very bumpy and not for the faint of heart. You can either have a guided tour or rent an ATV on your own. Takes about 40 minutes to get to the top.

Once at the top you can take a small hike which has some steeper portions of hiking standards. You'll be rewarded with amazing views all the way to the Pacific Ocean. You can see the entire Puerto Vallarta Bay. Miles and miles in the other direction of in the inner portions of Mexico.

Suggest you download Google maps to help you get to the location if you travel alone without a guide. There's arrows that will point you along the way but take you on different paths on...

This is a restaurant where many companies bring tourists. Today I had the opportunity to do a Tour in San Sebastian del Oeste and we ate there. I have eaten here many times, I would Say, is the best place to eat Mexican food in this town. Even though they have a menu, we go for the Mexican Platter: Chicken mole, fried beans, cheese quesadilla, rice, machaca, salsa, tortillas, and agua frescas are the common things. The waitress just put everything on the table and You need to server yourself, the only thing that they put on your plate would be the cheese quesadilla and the mole! Sometimes I feel that we are too tight for the number of people, the chairs are so closed to each other, but the most interesting thing here is the taste of the food, not how...

Here’s the thing…it’s a straight up down home local Mexican eatery and the food is incredible. If Authentic Mexican food is what you’re looking for then I’d stop in here. My wife ate the menudo and i ate the “machaca” (which I’d never tried ever). I chose it because i asked the waiter what he recommended. I did not regret the choice. The fruit juices (aguas frescas) were totally fresh. The cafe de olla was the real kind. Service was very nice as what you’d expect in these small towns. Overall, i...

Awesome and large family run restaurant in San Sebastien. Authentic dishes served on traditional plate ware. We’re we’re 12 of us on our tour and the meal was preset and included quesadilla, pico, beans & rice. They also served Jamaica juice and strawberry horcheta for drinks with Macheta (a shredded pork with eggs and peppers) and chicken with mole followed. Some people enjoyed a large serving of flan for dessert.

The hotel is missing a few things. A tub would be nice. The shower curtain isn't long enough, and some water gets on the floor. Nothing super fancy, but AC works great. Water gets warm. Hotel is very clean, and all the staff is super nice!! We especially liked Aldo, and Alex around the pool. And our room cleaner (blonde curly hair) was amazing. We would definitely come back here for the price
