Desayunos, Comida y Tacos Franco — Restaurant in Jalisco

My wife and I were walking by after visiting the Soriana store and we saw this restaurant. There was a sign for 5 tacos al pastor for less than 100 pesos. So we stopped and had the special. We sat at the counter and we could see the guy making our tacos. We ordered a soda because they didn't have any beer and it went down well with our tacos. Then we noticed that across the way there was a stand that sold beer. The tacos were good and the service was nice. It was a nice quick dinner.

I absolutely love this taco stand and return often. They put out a lot of food and their prices are great. My favorite are the pastor (pork) tacos which are cooked with some great spices that give the meat a really good flavor. They make the tortillas right there at the stand and have a surprisingly good selection of ways to customize your order. I also love their salsa and other dips available on every table. The staff are friendly and do their best with those of us who don't know...

We had a really nice brunch experience (refreshing after a bad experience at another restraunt yesterday). There was a wait - but it was no more than 15-20 mins (it was Sunday around 10 - so I was expecting to wait at least 30 minutes or longer for a table for 5). The waiter was very attentive from the moment we sat down. The food was great - and the kitchen and wait staff seemed to work very well together. I will definitely go back...
