This is the 5th Korean restaurant I've been to in Guadalajara and it's easily the worst. Ordered Korean chicken which I found inedible. The quality of the chicken was so bad it was filled with gristle and hard meat. Actually inedible. I also ordered the Korean pancake which was severely overcooked. The first bite I took i couldn't bite through the onion. The octopus was hard and rubbery and it all tasted of char. Even the kimchi side dish was inedible. It tasted (and looked) like it had a can of tomato sauce poured over it. I can't remember not eating the kimchi but i couldn't stomach this one. And lastly, the service was very hands off. Trying to get their attention was difficult and they never checked how the food was after it was brought out. I understand in Korea it's customary for the service to hang out in the kitchen and the clients to holler for them but this is Mexico and they were around visible but not paying any attention. In all, I was very disappointed and will never return. The bottle of imported soju was the best thing the...
Read moreThis is by far one of the top sushi places around here. It's a sushi buffet for $189 mxn the price has changed from a year till now (beverage not included) with a very cool variety of flavors in sushi. From spicy to sweet and neutral. You'll find whatever you're looking for. There's mostly krab not many salmon options but still the taste is so good. I really love this place. The service is meh and the place itself as well but the food is 10/10. Not a fancy place at all just casual stuff. Edit 2022: I still love this place but I think it's pricey now. It's about $200 per person plus beverages and the sushi quality is not what it used to be. I'm still going back but not as my...
Read moreThis is barely called sushi, like all the buffets in Guadalajara, but this one has even less quality selection than I've encountered. Half of the rolls were some variation of crab.. the others covered in weird sauce or seaweed. No salmon rolls prepared, yet I could see the filet in the window. The buffet has "karage chicken" that is more like battered chicken and the miso soup is a basically pork broth with cabbage. The salad bar selection is underwhelming as well with grapes, melon, jello.. you know. Overpriced at $159, and you also pay $30 peso for sugary lemonade. I...
