Metate y Café Río Blanco — Restaurant in Jalisco

We frequent the Cañadas location and love everything about it, but we’re shopping at the Sunday tiangues and decided to go to this location. From the beginning, it was a horrible experience. The hostess sat us in a dark corner with no air, after sitting there for about 10 minutes I got up to find a waiter and menus because nobody had greeted us. Our food took forever and when it came out, several of the orders were wrong or missing items. The server never returned to check on us so when we needed an orange juice and more tortillas, I had to get up from the table and go find somebody. Because our table was crammed in the corner. This required me to climb over other people who were also dining in the same corner. The food was overly salted and generally lacked flavor. The staff was rude and overall unfriendly we will not be returning to this location and it is disappointing that they would allow one of their locations to be so horrible. I had debated not leaving a review as we do love the other location however upon returning home from dropping my children at school we saw one of the Metate trucks and the driver was so rude and aggressive as she passed through our neighborhood that I felt it was necessary to mention that while the last Cañadas location is amazing it appears the company as a whole is not moderating. Me gusta mucho la comida del lugar, los guisos son excelentes salvo un detalle que es el causante de la baja calificación, en las últimas 2 visitas (aunque conocidos me han comentado de más ocasiones) que he hecho me han salido pelos en mis alimentos… la primera vez “solo fue uno” y lo dejé pasar porque realmente no me afecta demasiado sin embargo el día de hoy volví y nuevamente tuve una experiencia desagradable por esto, en un principio salió un pelo largo y chino que inmediatamente retiré de mi platillo y tiré al suelo (por lo que no pude sacar foto) disponiéndome a continuar comiendo evitando el bocado en cuestión pero no tarde mucho en darme cuenta que el platillo entero estaba lleno de pequeños pelitos adicionales, y no eran 1,2,3 sino varios de ellos. En verdad es un lugar en el que disfruto comer pero creo que deberían de ser mucho más cuidadosos con la limpieza tanto en la preparación como al momento de servir...

Lamentablemente la situación que tuve Estoy embarazada de 7 meses y cuentan efectivamente con dos lugares OCUPADOS el primero estaba ya ocupado el segundo se estaba estacionando un señor con su sello pero al bajarse no observé a nadie con una incapacidad le comenté a la chica que estaba embarazada y que mal que no respetaran los lugares lo cual cero empatía me contestó trae su sello CLARAMENTE ME TUVE QUE ESTACIONAR LEJOS solo es una cuestión de empatía Atención Educación y Respeto Salí molesta con mi gran pedido y se acercó a ofrecer su ayuda lo cual me negué ya para que solo es una pequeña observación de cuidar de esos detalles y si veo que la persona no cuenta con ninguna discapacidad o embarazo realmente dejar los lugares para quienes siiiii los necesitamos y sobre todo empatía
