Tradicional Asadero Bar — Restaurant in Jalisco

I don't know how you can mess up nachos, but they did. The totopos were stale, beans were dry and meat was dry and chewy. No guacamole offered, it was completely bland. Not a single person in my family enjoyed their meal except for my sister-in-law who had the ribs.

The waitress was more interested in standing at the bar chatting to her colleagues than serving and didn't bother to tell us that they were out of the specific drinks we ordered. After 15 minutes of waiting for a shot of tequila, we had to flag her down. When we asked about it she looked confused then said, "oh no, we actually ran out of that tequila".

The food was good & plenty, with handmade tortillas. It is an outdoor setting, so be conscious of the weather. It was Very Hot, Humid & some flies. There's large fans - so definitely sit by one, it helps alot. We had a parillada with 3 items. Arrachera, sirloin & BBQ ribs. Food did not disappoint. Wasn't exactly what I expected. The commercial makes it seem like your able to pick and choose all the food you want. But they really do all the picking. The food was good and the service was good also, just not what I expected. They have a lot of pork and chicken, but I was looking for steak. They said the breakfast is much better.
