Frappe was good, the hot chocolate a little too heavy with the nutella.
The food was okay however we were charged more than what was stated on the menu for adding arrachera to our chilaquiles.
When ordering our server told us the 2 x 1 was for the basic chilaquiles sencillos and we would be charged extra for the protein add-on, which was fine.
However, upon receiving the bill, we noticed the cost was higher than stated in the menu.
We questioned this and were told (by a second server) that because we got the promotion, the cost of the arrachera is higher? I'm not sure of the logic here as the promotion was applicable solely for the chilaquiles, and we were already paying the additional to add the protein. If we were made aware of this when ordering, we wouldn't have chosen the chilaquiles.
It seems quite dishonest to not only uplift the price to balance the fact that you choose a promotion but also for not making this clear in their menu or when you order.
For this reason I would...
Read moreComfortable place to do work for remote workers - reliable WiFi, at least two outlets available, and I’ve never had a problem with finding a seat. This could entirely be me being accustomed to American customer service but I was rather annoyed today after I ordered a bowl of guacamole and found that it was more like half tomato-half avocado. It hadn’t mentioned tomato on the menu, and I’m not a fan of them, and there was too much to be able to pick out. I asked if they could remake it without tomato, and they said they could but they would charge me for two orders. 😒 Again, I’m from the US where it’s entirely acceptable to reject food free of charge, so I don’t know if that’s typical in Mexico, but just something I thought other Americans would...
Read moreNice decorations and ambiance. I took the plate of fruit because I needed to eat some and felt it was the healthy choice. I thought the price was a bit high compared to the rest of the menu so I ask what that included, which were yogurt and granola… well turn out it was about two tables spoons of each. 😕 I was a bit disappointed. It would have been nice too to have season local fruit instead of apple, strawberry and the eternal banana… the two other fruit were cantaloupe and papaya. Only the latest doesn’t grow in my northern Canada country. ( ok, the bananas don’t grow there either but let face it: it’s the cheapest fruit, by far, out there) Anyway, the vibe was nice and peaceful and I’ll give an other try for sure...
