I'll go through food, service and then atmosphere. Food: you heard it. The pizza is amazing. The San Marzano tomatoes sauce is beautiful, the cheese is amazing and their giant brick oven creates a beautiful crusty char. It's all there. That said, food wise I gave only four stars. Who's to blame? The rubbery, stale and sad fried calamari we ordered for appetizer. Really subpar calamari that must have been reheated from a month ago after being served two or three times already. What went wrong there? How can a restaurant make such perfect pizza but fail so miserably frying food is beyond me. Service: very nice, well trained, knowledgeable and professional but slow. Maybe it's just because we were there on Valentine's but we definitely had to wait for menus, to get our order and to get our bill. Come patient. Atmosphere: the place is lovely and I wouldn't have any other concern but the music. Half way through our meal we inadvertently stopped talking to each out of exhaustion to keep up with the loud music. Whenever you're in a place where you have to compete with the background music to be heard and hear your peers you eventually give up and grant the space to the music. This place is amazing. I ordered takeout several times during my stay in Querétaro and was blown away each time. Hands down the best pizza in the city, and one of the best I’ve ever had.
