Fresko Urban Center Juriquilla — Local services in Juriquilla

We are very spoiled to live within easy walking distance, here in Juriquilla, to four supermarket giants, HEB, Supermas, Selecta, and Fresko. All of them compete for the largely affluent local community. Fresko is the smallest and, from what I can see, the most expensive. After a another visit today, I found myself frustrated by limited choices and Fresko's over emphasis on ridiculously extravagent and expensive items. Additionally, Fresko has something the other supers here do not, people who are elderly and poor working for tips. I get that it helps some of the poorest to get by, but the contrast, elite, gourmet items being bagged by the poorest and neediest is one that discomforts me. Of the big four here, Fresko...

It's a little small compared to other supermarkets, but still has many helpful items. Perfect for some good grocery shopping: vegetables are always fresh and the staff is always ready to help. The store also counter with a wine section with a very good selection. There's a small area inside to get some coffee along with bread straight out...

A good store, a little bit pricier than others around, is clean and has good stock, well organized; the gourmet section is superb but prices will kill you, parking is good. The bad thing is that when we went there was absolutely not a shopping cart available whatsoever.... and none in store to help you with. Other than that it is...
